About Me

My photo
What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn't work. So I quit being a "law man" so that I could be God's man. Christ's life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galations 2:19-20

The Blogger of the Year Award

If you have not already figured it out, I am pretty far away from making it on one of those fancy blogging polls. I signed up mainly to read other people's blogs but with intentions of eventually starting to blog myself. I thought it would encourage me & help me practice my writing skillz. It really didn't work out the way I planned it out in my head. Ever so often I get an itch to write something and once I do, I am rather satisfied for awhile. So forgive me if you randomly find this blog and think to yourself, "What is the purpose here?" I know, I suck at it!

It has been a whole 4 months since my last post & our lives went on (which felt like we were in a 3rd dimension traveling at the speed of light): Mallory officially turned 7 which meant PARTAY, homework, work, school programs (volunteers needed), Girls MPact club at our Church, homework, work, Tre worked 3 jobs, work, Thanksgiving festivities (which included driving for 20 hours round trip), deciding to go to Disney World, planning and preparing for Disney World, Christmas Programs/shopping/decorating, Family functions, homework, work, oh and let's throw our mom a surprises 50th bday party ideas and preparation, going to Disney World, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy birthday, and pass the tylenol! Needless to say, it was hectic. I am so glad to start the New Year off with a to do list which is only half that size. HA!

But looking back, there were some pretty fantastic moments in there. Maybe I will blog about them, at some point. But for now, I am satisfied. HEHE!
